Important changes to ShebaMiles Award Chart August 15, 2022

Effective April 01, 2022, this change will be implemented to all bookings made with Ethiopian and partner airlines flights. These changes include;

  • Adjustment of award zones and award levels in the ShebaMiles Award Chart to ensure that flight awards remain sustainable yet competitive.
  • Adjustments to ShebaMiles one-way award chart on Ethiopian flights to make one-way awards more attractive.
  • Removal of stopover charges from all award tickets on Ethiopian Airlines flights.

    Importantly, with this change, while there will be an increase in the number of miles required to redeem for flights, you can also expect to enjoy a relaxed policy in the amount of miles you can buy to top up your balance in case your current balance is short of the required number of miles to book your next award.

Please use our flight award calculator and upgrade award calculator to find the new award chart.
